Fernandez Beach Resort provides a variety of affordable accommodations, though the beach can be a bit muddy during low tide, but the pool offers a good alternative for swimming.
Fernandez Beach Resort, located in Peña Plata, Samal District, is about a 30-minute drive from Babak port. The resort offers a wide range of accommodations, starting from budget-friendly rooms as low as Php 500, which come with air conditioning but no fan. Prices vary from Php 500 to Php 6,000, depending on the number of guests and the amenities provided.
The resort features a white sand beach, though the water can sometimes become muddy, especially during low tide. Guests can unwind in open cottages by the shore. A day tour is available for just Php 100, but access to the swimming pool requires an additional fee—Php 100 for adults and Php 50 for children.
As one of the oldest resorts in Samal, Fernandez Beach Resort has a reputation for affordability.
