The undersigned is a faculty of the College of Hospitality Education, University of Mindanao and is currently pursuing PhD. In International Hospitality Management at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Manila. Part of the completion of the academic program is dissertation writing. The paper is entitled ”WELLNESS TOURISM IN REGION XI: STRATEGIES FOR GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS”. This study aims to determine the essential components of a wellness destination as perceived by tourism stakeholders in areas of business facility, location and environment, supporting tourism services, servicescape and service encounter factors. The study also tries to determine interrelationship of the above-mentioned components with tourist motivational drivers in visiting wellness tourism destination on the perceived value of the services received, satisfaction and revisit intentions.
Anent to this, I would like to seek for your permission to allow the researcher to administer survey questionnaires to your resort staff and guests. The survey will look into their wellness motivational characteristics, satisfaction as well as post purchase behaviors.
