Value for Money
Isula de Amor Resort is a quiet and affordable place, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from the outside world.
Isula de Amor Resort is nestled in Barangay Cogan on Talicud Island, offering a peaceful and secluded escape. To reach the resort, take a boat from Sta. Ana Wharf to Sta. Cruz Port, then hire a tuk-tuk or habal-habal for a short ride. One of its unique features is the absence of phone signals, making it an ideal spot for those seeking to unplug and disconnect from the world.
The resort offers basic amenities, including air-conditioned rooms and open cottages. Rooms with private toilets start at an affordable rate of Php 2,000 per night. However, it’s important to note that electricity on Talicud Island can be unreliable. The resort is still underdeveloped compared to the more established beaches on mainland Samal, which adds to its charm for those looking for a rustic getaway.
Camping enthusiasts will appreciate the designated areas near the open cottages where they can pitch their tents. Despite its modest offerings, the resort remains serene, with only a handful of visitors even during weekends. Isula de Amor is perfect for travelers seeking a tranquil retreat, away from crowds and the distractions of modern life.
