Efoil Now in Samal Island

If you’ve ever looked at the calm, glassy waters of the Davao Gulf and wished you could catch a wave like they do in Siargao, your wait is officially over. But we’re not waiting for the tide—we’re bringing the “flight” to the water. Introducing the first-ever Efoil (Electric Hydrofoil) experience in the Davao Region, now available exclusively on Samal Island!

How Does It Work?

  • An Efoil is essentially a high-tech surfboard equipped with a silent electric motor and a hydrofoil wing attached to a mast under the board.
  • The Physics of Flight: As the electric motor (powered by a high-capacity battery) propels the board forward, the underwater wing creates “lift”—just like an airplane wing.
  • The Sensation: Once you hit a certain speed, the board rises completely out of the water. You aren’t just surfing; you’re gliding 1-2 feet above the surface.
  • Total Control: You manage your speed using a handheld Bluetooth remote, making it easy to speed up or slow down as you find your balance.

The Perfect Alternative to Surfing

Because the Davao Gulf is known for its serene, flat waters, traditional surfing isn’t usually an option. The Efoil is the ultimate alternative because it creates its own thrill. It doesn’t need waves or wind; you can “surf” on the calmest day of the year.
