San Remegio Cove Beach Resort (Formerly Samalan Camp and Sea) is located in Barangay San Remegio, Kaputian District, is a bit remote, about 35 km from the ferry port, but easily accessible via Bao-bao or Tuktuk for Php 250 per person. The resort boasts an open white sand beach where visitors can freely walk, unlike some beaches in Babak, Samal. It offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a serene getaway.

While the resort offers only a few basic amenities, including air-conditioned and fan rooms, guests can also pitch tents under the trees, enjoying a stunning ocean view. One unique feature of this resort is the option for car camping right by the beach, making it ideal for those seeking a more adventurous stay.

Besides swimming in the pristine waters, snorkeling is also available, allowing visitors to explore the underwater beauty. For as low as Php 150 for an overnight stay, San Remegio Cove Beach Resort provides an affordable yet idyllic beach experience for those looking to relax in a natural, laid-back setting.

  1. What a stain on the Filipino people and our nation, The Barangay Captain needs to shut this beach down, It’s an environmental hazard. There is trash and liquor bottles everywhere, broken glass on the beach. Do not take Your children here they will cut their feet and You will end up at the hospital. We do not need to teach our children this how we treat our beaches. With the fee they charge they should be able to hire at least 1 person to clean up all the trash. At every high tide all this debris is destroying our oceans. I wanted to cry it was so bad I will try and post all the pictures I have. There are plenty of beaches that are much cleaner on samal for You and Your children. Another thing that bothered me is the local government charges an environmental fee before You get to the resort the biggest corruption I have ever witnessed on our nation. This beach is a dumping ground of trash and destroys our oceans. An absolute disgrace on our people. Spend Your time and money else where. You will be much happier not knowing Your money is helping destroy our country.
